Dr. Norman N. Barbee
Dr. Barbee is the founder and President of Michael's Bible College, Inc. The College has been awarded four academic accreditations to offer degrees from the Associate through the Doctorate Level and is registered and certified by the Maryland State of Board of Higher Education.
Dr. Barbee is the Pastor of Michael's Temple Pentecostal Church of God, located in Landover Hills, Maryland. In 2006, he was ordained Apostle
Dr. Noman N. Barbee completed his undergraduate studies at North Carolina Central University and Jackson State University, earning his Library Science Education Degree. In 1978, he earned his Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland, at College Park in 1978.
In 1996, Dr. Barbee earned his Doctorate of Theology Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla, Georgia and earned his Doctorate of Biblical Studies from Anderson Theological Seminary in the summer of 1997. In addition, he earned a graduate degree from the Institute of Biblical Studies at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and his Ph.D in the winter of 1997 from American International University. In 2004, he also earned his Doctorate of Christian Education from Spirit of Truth Institute, Richmond, Virginia.
He served as Director of the Library Resources Center at the Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Capital Heights, Maryland.
Dr. Barbee is supported by his wife Mary Louise Hines Barbee for forty three years. Together they have three daughters and three granddaughters.
